The Committee on Development Administration and Communication (CODAC) conducts its 3rd Quarter Meeting today, 11 September, at the NEDA Pamegafanan Hall, RGC, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City.
Among the agenda items for discussion include the following:
1) Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Charter;
2)Cagayan Valley Regional Statistical Development Program (CV RSDP) 2023-2029; and
3)Resolution of the 5th Infantry Division Multi-Sectoral Advisory Board to ensure the timely implementation of the Barangay Development Program (BDP) and the Special Barangay
Development Program (SBDP)/ Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP).
The updates on the implementation of the Cagayan Valley Regional Development Plan (CV RDP) 2023-2028 Communication Plan were presented. These include the 2024 1st semester accomplishments of the RDC2 Speakers Bureau as well as its remaining target activities for the year.

The Luzon Regional Development Committee (Luzon RDCom) recommended the use of the updated land area of local government units (LGU) in the computation of national tax allotment (NTA), or the LGUโ€™s just share in the national taxes, during its meeting held on August 20, 2024 at SotoGrande Hotel in Quezon City.
NEDA Regional Director Susan A. Sumbeling, the Vice Chair of the Regional Development Council in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), said that the proposal emanated from the clamor of LGUs in CAR, especially the municipality of Sadanga in Mountain Province, for adjustment of land areas used as basis for the computation of NTA. Based on data from Land Management Bureau (LMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, land areas of LGUs in Luzon are already updated, as reflected in the 2019 Master List of Land Area.

Region 2 stakeholders pledged support to the implementation of the Cagayan Valley Regional Research and Development Agenda (CV RRDA) 2023-2028 during the Regional Research Dissemination Forum held on 6 August 2024 at the Pulsar Hotel Premiere Suites, Buntun, Tuguegarao City.
The CV RRDA contains the region’s priority R&D agenda aimed at addressing the development gaps, challenges, and opportunities that are identified in the Cagayan Valley Regional Development Plan.
